We’ve all heard most of his music many times – but this track is rarely played. It was a big hit for Eric Clapton but Michael Jackson’s version was recorded a few years earlier. It was supposed to be on Thriller but some sort of legal dispute prevented its inclusion. I think it’s better than Clapton’s more famous version, but then it was produced by Quincy Jones rather than Phil Collins. And as for the title – how prophetic that turned out to be.
