A big boost for Brexit.

Albeit an unintended one. Tony Blair made a speech this morning urging those who voted Remain to “rise up” and try to overturn the result of a democratic referendum. Let’s leave aside for a moment whether Brexit is a good or a bad idea. The issue here is that we’re being lectured by Tony Blair. This discredited creep who has shamelessly and greedily exploited his former position to make millions, is in no position to lecture anyone. The Brexit vote, he said, was based on “imperfect knowledge”. This from a man who took Britain to war on false claims about “weapons of mass destruction”. He’s so hopelessly out of touch that he still doesn’t get it. He and everything he stands for are the reason people voted for Brexit. They may well have made the wrong choice but hearing it from him will convince them that they made the right one.
