The term “Blue Moon” refers to rare occurrence of a second full moon in one calendar month. I missed it. Of course I did. I seldom see the moon. Especially at this time of the year when it’s unlikely to appear before about 10pm. The older we get, the earlier our nights become. My great friend Tony Harris, who’s a big fan of this record, is of a similar vintage to me. He used to say that “No civilised man goes to bed on the same day he gets up”. Not any more. A few years ago, he supplanted that with a desire to be “tucked up before the Shipping Forecast”.
