This hybrid hit, percussively produced by Phil and sung by not-the-blonde-one-the other-one from Abba. I have clear and definite opinions about most things: politics, religion, climate change but, strangely, not Phil Collins. My internal jury is still out: On the one hand, he’s a fantastic drummer and when he replaced Peter Gabriel as the frontman of Genesis, he transformed them. He went on to have a phenomenal solo career and “In The Air Tonight” is still a truly innovative and much-sampled track. He can act too; he was very good in Buster and Miami Vice. But on the other hand, he’s…..well…..he’s still Phil Collins.
What do you get if you cross Abba with Phil Collins?
