……. It’s the third time in about ten days. The first time was behind Selfridges. I stared for a moment, he caught my eye so I smiled and said “Big fan of your work”. The second time, two days later, I felt a bit awkward and said nothing. Yesterday in Notting Hill I thought, “Oh not again. He’s going to think I’m a stalker” and hid behind a parked car. My favourite Paul Weller album isn’t a Paul Weller album. It’s a CD he compiled called “Under the Influence” comprising tracks that, well, influenced him. He’s got seven children so this one clearly did.
