Not going to happen now, is it?

Last day of September and the forecast is dry with sunny spells. So no “September in the Rain”. I should have played this on that Friday about three weeks ago when it absolutely lashed down but I forgot. Never mind, I thought, bound to rain again soon but it didn’t, so today this song isn’t particularly apposite. But look at this way: decent weather and you get to hear one of the greatest female singers of the 20th century. Surely that’s the best of both worlds.
