As long as both personas are lovely, as is the case with Dianne Larrington. An upstanding member of her community, she works with young people, often from quite challenging backgrounds. She hardly drinks, seldom swears and is a paragon of kindness and virtue. But….every year at the Notting Hill Carnival her alter ego comes out to play. Today, in a bejewelled orange bikini and spectacular head dress, she’ll be cavorting around the streets of West London. The alter ego loves a soca rhythm so this is for her and her fellow carnival queens. But whatever you do, don’t tell the virtuous and upstanding youth worker.
Don’t you love people with split personalities?
