Donald Trump is to be President of the United States. Who’d have thought it? Well – and I’m not just saying this – I did. Not because I like him. I loathe him. I think he’s horrible, boorish and unfit for office. But I just knew Hillary Clinton would never win. How useless a candidate do you have to be to lose to Donald Trump? Any other Democrat would have thrashed him. But Hillary wanted her turn. She seemed to feel she had a divine right to the Presidency. The electorate felt otherwise. And now look what’s happened. Hillary was a deeply flawed candidate, largely because she’s associated with Bill. The world has moved on and both Clintons now look dull, dated and irrelevant. Just because you were popular in the 90s doesn’t mean you always be. Ask Chesney Hawkes.
