Right. Let’s drop a few names, shall we?

I met Noel Gallagher at Shoreditch House last night (one). I don’t know him but we’re both friends with Craig Cash (two). Before The Royle Family, Craig was a DJ on KFM in Stockport and was the first person to play Oasis on the radio. I used to work a lot with Craig and Caroline Aherne (three) and was up in Manchester writing scripts with them. We ended up in a pub in Didsbury with Peter Hook (four) and Steve Coogan (five). Okay, five names dropped – all from Manchester. This will please my Mancunian friends Jon Matthews, Mike Hannett and Dave Buchanan. (Nah, their names don’t count).
