Shocking pink – and I mean truly shocking – and made even worse by a lurid floral pattern. I’ve worn it to practically all my children’s school concerts. In a sea of sensibly dressed parents, I stood out like a (very) sore thumb but at least my kids knew I was there. My 15 year old daughter has progressed from school concerts to opera houses all over Europe. Tonight she’s in Dusseldorf but the tradition remains – I’ll be in Row A, wearing the “Amazing Technicolor Dream Shirt”. Hence this track which I’ve always loved. Am I embarrassed about that? God, no. If I’m not embarrassed about wearing that hideous shirt to a formal opera house, I’m certainly not embarrassed about liking Jason Donovan.
I’ll be wearing the “school concert” shirt….
