Withnail & I

The cult film was released 30 years ago and I have an odd thing in common with Richard E Grant who, of course, played Withnail. We share a deep love of Christmas pudding. Like me, he apparently stocks up with a few while they’re in the shops, so he can enjoy them throughout the year. I’m just looking at a very fine M&S Luxury example heavy with fruit and brandy – best before 31st May – which I’m looking forward to opening today. I’m sure Jesus won’t mind Withnail and I scoffing figgy pudding to celebrate his resurrection rather than his birth. So in honour of Richard Grant with an E, here’s Ben King with an E.
