Happy Birthday to Judith Durham.

Former singer of The Seekers, 74 today. She and I share a birthday, albeit quite a few years apart. We all tend to know which, if any, celebrities share our birthdays. So I’ve always known that Judith Durham shared mine. Though for years, I wanted someone a bit cooler. Then it transpired that Tom Cruise was also born on the 3rd July (despite the title of one of his films). What’s more, the same year as me. The most famous movie star in the world. Wow! How cool is that? Not very cool at all. On reflection, I’m happier with Judith Durham. I now realise that she was great singer, very attractive and not a short and uber-creepy member of the Church of Scientology.
